This DVD consists of 3 x 52 min progammes covering the Team (Grand Prix), Individual Grand Prix Special and the Individual Freestyle (Kur) competitions.

In the Team competition The Netherlands, ably led by Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud, saw off the persistent challenge of the British Team and had enough in hand to resist Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro's efforts.

Charlotte and Valegro went on to comfortably win the Grand Prix Special despite having trouble with her one time changes. German Kristina Broring-Sprehe and her fabulous black stallion Desperados FRH were impressive in second place, in the Freestyle they moved up several gears to rapturous applause from the home crowd with a wonderful performance. Many doubted that even Charlotte and Valegro would beat her score, however the reigning Olympic, World and European Champion held her nerve to just edge out the up and coming German by just 0.15 of a mark!

Nearly 3 hours of top class dressage makes up this wonderful DVD with the best from all the competitions.

FEI Longines European Eventing Championships Blair Castle 2015 Was £14.99 now £4.99

Price: 4.99

This was the first time Scotland had hosted an international equestrian event and the beautiful setting at Blair Castle in Perthshire was the spectacular venue.

The Germans were the odds on favourites going into the event and they proved why they are the World's No 1 country in eventing with a comprehensive all the way win in the team competition led by their superstar Michael Jung. Great Britain were a distant second for silver with France taking the bronze.

Michael Jung, riding the youngest horse in the competition, the 8 yr old Fischer Takinou, was one of only 3 clears over Ian Stark's attractive cross country course to be inside the optimum time, a target that became increasingly difficult to achieve as relentless rain on the Saturday heavily favoured the early starters.

Jung's usual polished clear round in the showjumping on the Sunday confirmed his superiority over fellow team mate and World Champion Sandra Auffarth with France's Thibaut Vallette grabbing bronze after Issy Taylor (GB) had one down showjumping on Briarlands Matilda.

For the first time in 25 years an American rider triumphed in the Rolex FEI World Cup final as 52 year old Rich Fellers riding the 16yr old Irish bred Flexible, the oldest and smallest horse in the competition, won this prestigious title. This amazing combination forced a jump off with the Swiss rider Steve Guerdat riding the scopey Nino Des Buissonnets after three horses tied going into the fourth and final leg. Flexible’s winning clear round on that final afternoon drew a standing ovation from the appreciative Dutch crowd who knew they had witnessed something special.

Flexible is described by Fellers as a family pet and has twice come back from serious injury proving that certain jumpers get better with age; the longevity of the partnership also proved crucial in such a pressurised finale.
